My work: Organize your Kitchen

Spaces Done RIght with a bright, organized kitchen pantry with white shelving, wicker baskets, and a small window allowing natural light in.
  • Take everything out of boxes or out of cupboards and storage.

  • Lay everything out on long tables by grouping: baking ware, cooking ware, dinner plates, cups, mugs, bowls, glassware, storage containers, flatware, serving plates, entertaining pieces, seasonal pieces, holiday pieces.

  • Look for duplicates and eliminate by group.

  • Edit any ceramic or glassware with less than 4 alike pieces.

  • Pantry: trash old and out of date food, spices, condiments, sauces, baking ingredients, oils.

  • Marry any liquids in containers. Empty any containers of rancid food.

  • Align all bakeware and cookware, and group together in similar activities: grilling, baking, sauteeing, boiling. Donate pans or ceramics that you haven’t used in 2 years.

  • Recycle all appliances that you haven’t used in 2 years.

  • Make a storage basket for any memorabilia, gifts, or a single precious item.

  • Organize glassware and prioritize daily use, wine, cocktail, in order. Remove the glassware that you do not use and recycle or donate.

  • Organize flatware and make sure you have what you need. Recycle or donate any extra pieces. Organize serving pieces and donate or recycle extras.

  • This is a starter sampler and much more included in Spaces Done Right.
